The product information we have put on the website so far can be found in the navigation menu on the left side. Over time a number of things should be added, such as information on the fingerprint powders (what powder to use on what surface), Silmark, ninhydrin solutions, cyanoacrylate and cyanoacrylate staining solutions, DFO, and more information on staining solutions for blood.

A number of things allready added to the Dutch product information section are not here yet. But that can also be said of the Dutch section (there is no manual of use for the gelatin lifters in the Dutch section for example).

When you are looking for something and you can't find it, we warmly recommend the search engine on the site.

Information that is linked to from within the site but not mentioned in the navigation menu on the left includes:

  • The handout of a lecture on "Visualization of latent fingerprints on used vinyl and latex gloves using Gellifters" by Theo Velders. A PDF-version is available for download (size: 4.8 MB).
  • A PDF-file from the presentation on lifting indented writing with black Gellifters (2002), by Jan de Koeijer of the NFI is available for download.
  • The handout of Theo Velders' lecture (IAI-conference, 1998) on the combined use of DFO and cyanoacrylate fuming/lifting with black gelatin lifters on surfaces with are partly porous and partly non-porous is available as a PDF file.
  • A handout on Theo Velders' research into visualizing muddy shoeprints using Safranine O to make them fluorescent (non-porous surfaces) or DFO (paper) presented as a poster on the 82nd Educational Conference of the IAI, Danvers/Massachusetts, 1997.
  • A paper of Rofin employees on the use of blue light and orange goggles for searching semen stains.
  • The handout of a presentation by Bill Bodziak "The use of Leuco Crystal Violet to enhance shoe prints in blood", Shoe Print/Tool Mark Examiners (SPTM) conference, May 1995, Helsinki (Finland).
  • A short manual of use for NarcoPouch both as PDF and as HTML.
